Cadence

Run your 1:1s, check-ins, and growth reviews in a native Mac app that keeps your team's data local.
Why it exists Built for one of my many hats I manage a team at a startup while wearing several other hats, and when time ran short the people work slipped before anything else: a missed check-in became two, and review season meant piecing together 1:1 notes from three different apps. So I built Cadence for myself. I haven't missed a check-in since, and now I'm rewriting it so any talent leader can run their team on it.
Your people One page per report KPIs, goals, 1:1 notes, and the personal details worth remembering live on one profile. When a report mentions their daughter starting school, you write it down where you will see it before the next 1:1.
A rhythm you can hold Check-ins on a cadence Set each report to a weekly, monthly, or quarterly check-in, with room for a private manager note. The streak counter tells on you when someone drifts.
Review season Reviews drafted from your notes Each review walks through self-review, manager draft, calibration, and shared. Drafts start from the check-in notes you already wrote, so you skip the night-before scramble.
